Legacy Group Capital hosted their quarterly Lunch n’ Learn where employees were given tools to help move the needle on ambitious new year’s goals and business ideas. On January 9, Leadership specialist Max Martina from the Nofisnger Group guided employees through a leadership training.
The Q1 event saw 20 attendees where employees were guided through tactics to hit outcomes with purpose and performance and sustain momentum when faced with challenges. Martina also broke down the three components of finding happiness and the importance of having clear values.
Following the training, a Legacy employee stated, “In understanding our own values, we gain clarity on what brings us enjoyment, satisfaction, purpose, and meaning, in short, what brings us happiness. When our values as aligned with our goals, we will have more motivation and success. That introspective evaluation of aligning our values and goals is a powerful exercise that will benefit us both personally and professionally.”
The Lunch n’ Learn series was created to foster learning in employees through hour-long meetings, oftentimes featuring subjects not directly related to Legacy Group Capital’s day-to-day business. The series is designed as a free resource to cover topics to further develop employees as thought leaders and well-rounded individuals.
Martina has had a strong history with supporting individuals’ leadership journeys and helping engage the power that people have to change the world. He is the current Director at the Nofsinger Group, a company focused on elevating individuals, teams, and organizations to the next level of leadership. He has joined Legacy for several trainings, most recently at the 2023 Builder Appreciation Breakfast Summit.
“Max is the king of FOO [Facilitating the Output of Others] and our guide to becoming better leaders and embracing change. If you don’t know what FOO is, you’re missing out on the good stuff” another employee mentioned.
The January 9 Lunch n’ Learn not only marked a successful start to this year’s series of enriching events at Legacy but also demonstrated a strong commitment to fostering personal and professional growth among employees, setting a positive and ambitious tone for the year ahead.
