Helping others is what gets me excited. I work closely with moms and dads, first-time homeowners, businesses, and retirees daily. With 30+ years of experience in the lending world, I know the ins and outs. I am a small-town Montana man who believes people come first. My process is clear-cut. It’s straightforward. I listen to your wants and needs. I establish expectations. I handle the details. And no matter how long the loan process takes, I’m with you until the end.

With a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Montana State University, I am meticulous with each step of your loan. As a former business owner, I understand the pressure of running your own show. Since selling my credit reporting company and starting lending in 2005, I have built strong relationships throughout multiple service industries. Not only will you be in the best hands on your mortgage, but I can also refer you to first-class partners to assist with buying real estate, tax preparation, financial planning, estate planning, and insuring life, home, or auto.

From 2011 to 2021, I was named among Seattle Magazine’s Top Seattle Mortgage Professionals for eleven consecutive years. With loan originator licenses in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and Montana, I can help you in multiple locations. My extensive background in credit reporting makes necessary credit checks easy and allows me to field any questions you may have.

Following 29 years in the Seattle area, I have returned to Montana and am now working remotely in Bozeman through Legacy Group Capital’s Bellevue, WA office. Bozeman is where my wife and I first got our college degrees, and our daughter is now pursuing hers at Montana State University. In my free time, I find myself skiing in the winter and golfing in the summer after retiring from 8 years of volunteer coaching of T-Ball, Soccer, and Basketball during our time in Washington. We enjoy trying new restaurants and traveling. A favorite travel story was a raft trip down the Snake River in Wyoming. It was a ‘little’ wet. You can see the pictures in my office as we discuss your new loan.
